Brainbench

Brainbench certifications are used by major businesses including IBM, EDS, JPMorgan, Manpower, Monster and NASA. They are awarded after completing online exams in which questions automatically adapt to the candidate's skill level. Certificates are valid for three years.

There are more than 70 certificates on this page. If you are looking for a particular skill then you might want to use your web browser's find feature (usually accessible by pressing Ctrl-F).

Job Role Certificates

Job Role certificates demonstrate a theoretical competency for a particular job. In order to obtain one a certain combination of skills needs to be achieved, including both core and elective certificates usually across at least eight different skill areas.

Note that scores are on a 1-5 scale based upon adaptive testing. The percentage given in brackets is the score's proportion within that scale rounded to the nearest part (i.e. 1=0%, 5=100%). This percentage is not official, but is given to make the scores more meaningful at a glace. Also, since the questions are weighted the percentage does not reflect the proportion of questions answered correctly.
